Equipment You'll Need

Swimsuit

Swimsuit

Swimsuit

All swimmers are required to have a black swimsuit (one-piece for girls) that should be worn to all meets. Practice suits should be worn at practice. Swimmers should rinse out their suit after every practice or meet to increase the life of their suit. If you want a suit with the Antioch Waves logo check out the Swim store information below.

Goggles

Swimsuit

Most swimmers prefer to wear goggles, especially if their eyes are sensitive to chlorine. It's a good idea to have a spare on hand in case one pair breaks.

Swim Cap

Swim Cap

All swimmers are required to wear a swim cap for meets. Swim caps are encouraged or practice, as long hair can pose problems for a swimmer's stroke. Caps also protect hair from chlorine. Rinse the cap and dry well after ever use. It is a good idea to have extras on hand.

Towels

Warm Clothing

Swim Cap

Bring more than one towel. That way, you will have one for drying and another to sit on or wrap up in.
